Crock Pot Ribs
Ingredients
• 2 racks baby back ribs about 3 to 4 pounds • 1 onion
• 4 cloves garlic
• ½ cup chicken or beef stock
• 2 to 3 tablespoons rib rub
• 1 cup homemade bbq sauce
Rib Rub Ingredients- 1/4 cup packed light or dark brown sugar, 2 tablespoons smoked or regular paprika, 2 tablespoons kosher salt, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper Bbq Sauce Ingredients- 1 1/2 cups tomato ketchup, 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar, 2 Tbsp yellow mustard, 1 Tbsp paprika or to taste, 2 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp ground black pepper, or to taste, 4 garlic cloves, minced, 1/2 cup water - Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil then lower the heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
Crockpot Ribs Instructions 1. If making homemade rub, combine all rub ingredients.
2. Remove silver membrane from the back of the ribs. Rub front and back of the ribs with spice mixture.
3. I set my ninja on sear and place the ribs in your crockpot and sear all over.
4. Place onion, sliced garlic, water and ribs in a slow cooker.
