Happy New Year! 🥳🎆 To kick off this year in style, we are whipping up a homemade Porchetta right this moment! We even went wild and went live on TikTok to give you a sneak peek of how we started this bad boy, and let me tell you, it's gonna be a mouthwatering masterpiece by the end of the day! This Crockpot Porchetta is no joke, packed with flavors that will blow your mind. Check out these epic rub ingredients:- 1 Tablespoon of dried rosemary- 1 Tablespoon of kosher salt- 1 Tablespoon of dried oregano- 1 Tablespoon of dried fennel seed( we used dill) - ½ Tablespoon of onion powder- ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes- 6 to 8 cloves of garlic- 2 Tablespoons of olive oil And let's not forget the star of the show:- 4 pounds of pork roast- 2 Tablespoons of olive oil- ½ cup of white wine- ½ cup of chicken broth. Now, here's the deal: 1. Throw all those herb rub ingredients into a food processor and blend until you've got a paste. Make sure to stuff that deliciousness into the pork roast's nooks and crannies. Slather the rest of the rub all over that bad boy. 2. Heat up some oil in a pan and brown the roast to perfection. Then, pop that baby into a crockpot. 3. Top the roast with the remaining rub and pour in that wine and broth for some extra flavor explosion. Cook that beauty on high for about 6 hours until it's so tender it practically melts in your mouth. And if you're feeling patient, low and slow for 8-10 hours will do the trick too.
