Filet Mignon with Mustard Cream and Wild Mushrooms

Did you catch us on TikTok live whipping up this bomb dish?! It’s so freaking tasty and a breeze to cook up! Filet Mignon with Mustard Cream and Wild Mushrooms, it's a mouthwatering masterpiece! Ingredients: 3 tablespoons of heavenly unsalted butter, a whole pound of mixed wild mushrooms that'll knock your socks off, like shiitake and cremini, trimmed to perfection, and don't forget the magical touch of kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. Four (yes, four- even though we did 2. lol) mouthwatering 6-ounce beef fillets, about 1 1/2 inches thick, because why settle for less? Throw in a finely chopped shallot, two tablespoons of grainy mustard that'll make your taste buds sing, a cup of creamy dreamy heavy cream, and two tablespoons of chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, plus more for garnish, if you're feeling fancy. Directions:1. Heat up 2 tablespoons of butter in a large, heavy nonstick skillet until it's sizzling hot like a summer day. Toss in the mushrooms, sprinkle some salt and pepper, and cook until they're golden brown and delicious, about 6 minutes of pure culinary magic. 2. Wipe down the skillet like a pro. Heat up the last tablespoon of butter until it's practically dancing in the pan. Season the beef like it's royalty with salt and pepper, then sear it until it's beautifully browned, about 12 minutes of pure perfection. Plate that beef like a boss. 3. Toss in the shallots, let them sizzle until they're golden like the sun, about 3 minutes. Add the mustard and heavy cream, let it bubble and thicken into a heavenly sauce, about 3 minutes of pure bliss. Stir in the parsley like it's the final touch of a masterpiece. Spoon that luscious sauce on a plate, place the beef on top like it's the crown jewel, and scatter those mouthwatering mushrooms over it all. Sprinkle on some extra parsley for that Instagram-worthy finish, if you're feeling extra. #Filetmignon #mustardcreamsauce #mushrooms #fyp #foodie #homecookingisbest #cooking #cook #homecooking
