Crispy Breaded Crappie

Nothing beats fresh-caught crappie, fried up crispy and golden.

Simple. Crunchy. Absolutely worth standing on the ice for.

▫️ ¾ cup cornmeal

▫️ 1½ cups panko

▫️ Salt to taste

▫️ 1½–2 cups cooking oil

Lightly season, bread, and fry until golden brown. Serve hot and try not to eat them straight off the paper towel 😅
