🍝🔥 Pasta Bolognese 🔥🍝
Rich, hearty, and slow-simmered to perfection… this is comfort food DONE RIGHT 🤤
A classic meat sauce tossed with pasta, layered with flavor, and worth every bite 🙌
⸻
✨ Ingredients:
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 onion, diced
• 3 celery stalks, finely diced
• 2 carrots, peeled & finely diced
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 lb lean ground beef
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1 cup whole milk
• 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 tsp oregano
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 16 oz pasta (tagliatelle or your choice)
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
• Grated Parmesan (optional but highly recommended 🧀)
⸻
🔥 Directions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, celery, carrots & garlic. Cook until softened.
2. Add ground beef, season with salt & pepper, and cook until browned.
3. Pour in milk and let it simmer until mostly evaporated (about 10 min).
4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, bay leaf, oregano & nutmeg. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low for at least 30 minutes (1–2 hours = even better flavor 👀).
5. Cook pasta according to package directions. Serve topped with Bolognese, parsley & Parmesan.
⸻
💡 Pro tip: The longer it simmers, the richer it gets 🔥
